Environmental Sustainability

Iisaak was created to provide a new model of forest management.
This new model differed from other models because, it focused on sustainability, environmental responsibility and respect.
The wood we produce is of the utmost quality harvested, to the strict guidelines set out by the Clayoquot Sound Science Panel, from within the Nuu-chah-nulth traditional territories.

Our high standards have helped us achieve certification from the Forest Stewardship Council and Rainforest Alliance, as well as becoming recognized by the World Wildlife Fund in their Gift to the Earth program.
