The Forest Stewardship Plan

The Forest Stewardship Plan is an overarching plan which covers the entire area which is to be managed by the company. The Forest Stewardship plan is developed to address the objectives to preserve the integrity of the environment and to enable sustainable commercial forest and rangeland practices. Within the plan there are strategies that set out objectives to address values such as; water quality, fish habitat, soil integrity, Wildlife habitat, Biodiversity, and Cultural Resources.

Forest Stewardship Plans are very much a public document the plans must be reviewed by both the public and local First Nations, and input must be sought in an adequate timeframe before being submitted for approval by government.
